1. Agreement
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and RPC Tech Solutions LLC (“PlumbPaid,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By creating an account or using the PlumbPaid app or website, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.
2. The service
PlumbPaid is a business tool for sole plumbers and small plumbing firms. It is designed for invoicing completed work and collecting payment. PlumbPaid is not an estimating application and must not be used to create or deliver estimates, quotations, bids, or pre-work price proposals. It provides customer and job records, invoice creation with sales tax for the job’s state and owner-set discounts, PDF invoices with business letterhead, job notes and photographs, offline work with synchronization when connectivity returns, payment collection options, automatic receipts, CSV exports, and printable invoice summaries, and - on the Small Team plan - jobs, On my way texts to customers and optional route tracking. Features may vary by device, operating system, location, Stripe eligibility, and service availability.
3. Accounts and acceptable use
You must be able to enter a binding agreement and must provide accurate account and business information. You are responsible for protecting account credentials and for activity under your account. A sign-in is for one person: you may not share your email and password, or your Google account, with anyone else - for a crew, choose Small Team so everyone has their own. A sign-in can be in use on 2 devices at a time; signing in on another signs out the one used least recently. You may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, use it unlawfully, or upload content that you do not have the right to use.
4. Your customers, invoices, and work
You are responsible for your plumbing services, customer relationship, prices, taxes, invoice accuracy, refunds, legal notices, and the information and photographs you enter. You must have permission or another valid legal basis to place customer information and job photographs in PlumbPaid. PlumbPaid is software used by your business and is not a party to the agreement between you and your customer.
5. Taxes
PlumbPaid adds sales tax to an invoice using the labor and parts rates the business owner enters for each state, and the state of the job address. These are calculation and recordkeeping tools only: PlumbPaid does not decide whether tax is legally required or which rate applies, does not register the business with a tax authority, does not collect or remit taxes on its behalf, does not prepare tax returns, and does not give tax advice. The business is solely responsible for its rates, for charging and collecting every applicable tax, keeping invoice amounts accurate, and reporting and paying collected taxes to the right state or other tax authority. Get advice from a qualified tax professional when needed.
6. Payment processing
Stripe, an independent payment processor, processes electronic payments made through Tap to Pay, Stripe’s secure manual card entry page, and payment links. Funds settle to your plumbing business’s connected Stripe account. PlumbPaid does not hold customer funds or store full card details. Your use of Stripe is subject to Stripe’s applicable agreements, verification, fees, prohibited business rules, risk review, refunds, disputes, and other requirements. You are responsible for your Stripe account and for resolving refunds or disputes with customers and Stripe. Stripe processing fees are separate from the PlumbPaid subscription; see our fees guide for standard U.S. rates and common additional charges. PlumbPaid charges a platform fee of 0.5% of each card payment made through PlumbPaid, taken from the payment automatically, for taking card payments through PlumbPaid (Tap to Pay, payment links, marking invoices paid, double-charge protection, receipts and refund tracking); there is no PlumbPaid fee on cash or check, and a refund returns the platform fee in proportion. Cash and check records entered in PlumbPaid do not mean that PlumbPaid received or verified those funds.
7. PlumbPaid fees and subscriptions
PlumbPaid offers Solo Plumber (one person) at $19.99 a month or $199.99 a year, and Small Team (up to 5 people including the owner) at $49.99 a month or $499.99 a year. New subscribers get 7 days free, once per Google Play or App Store account. Subscriptions are purchased and billed through Google Play or the App Store and renew automatically at the same price for the same period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period (or of the free trial); cancelling stops the next renewal, and the plan continues until the period paid for ends. Manage or cancel in your Google Play or App Store account settings. Founding Plumbers who subscribe early keep their price for as long as they stay subscribed. A referral code from another plumber gives a lower first month or year, as shown when it is applied. In addition, PlumbPaid charges its platform fee of 0.5% of each card payment, as described in section 6.
Refunds. Subscriptions are sold and billed by Google Play or the App Store, so refund requests are handled by them under their refund policies: for Google Play, through your Google Play account (play.google.com > Payments & subscriptions); for the App Store, at reportaproblem.apple.com. PlumbPaid cannot issue refunds for store charges directly. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the current period, which stays available until it ends. If you cancel during the 7-day free trial, you are not charged. Nothing in these terms limits any refund right that applicable law gives you. The PlumbPaid platform fee on a card payment is returned in proportion when that payment is refunded to the customer.
8. Your content
You retain ownership of the customer, job, invoice, photograph, and business content you submit. You grant us a limited right to host, process, reproduce, and transmit that content solely as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service and comply with law. You confirm you have the rights needed to provide that content.
9. PlumbPaid ownership
The PlumbPaid name, brand, logos, visual identity, website, mobile application, software, and original content are owned by RPC Tech Solutions LLC or licensed to it and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer any ownership rights in PlumbPaid to a user. No one may copy, modify, distribute, sell, license, or use the PlumbPaid brand or materials except as permitted by RPC Tech Solutions LLC in writing or by applicable law.
10. Exports and records
You are responsible for keeping any records your business is legally required to retain. CSV and summary exports are convenience tools and should be reviewed for accuracy before being used for bookkeeping, accounting, tax, or legal purposes. PlumbPaid does not provide accounting, tax, or legal advice.
11. Availability, offline use, and changes
PlumbPaid is designed to let the plumber continue entering applicable work while the device is offline and to synchronize that work when connectivity returns. Synchronization timing depends on the device, available connection, storage, permissions, and service availability. The plumber should confirm that synchronization has completed before deleting local information, resetting or replacing a device, or relying on another device to show the latest records. We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue features. We work to keep PlumbPaid available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Tap to Pay requires compatible hardware and software and is subject to Stripe and device requirements.
12. Location, jobs and route tracking
On the Small Team plan, the business owner may turn on route tracking. Each plumber then chooses whether to share their location by starting a shift, and may end it at any time; jobs work without it. The business is responsible for telling its plumbers before turning route tracking on, for any consent or notice the law requires where it operates, and for using locations only to run its jobs. Arrival times are estimates from distance and an average speed, without traffic, and may be wrong.
13. Termination and deletion
Only a verified plumbing company owner may request deletion of the company’s PlumbPaid account as described on the Delete Account page. Staff members cannot delete the company account; they may request removal of their individual login without deleting company records. We may restrict or suspend use that violates these terms, creates a security or legal risk, or harms the service or others. Deleting PlumbPaid does not automatically close a separate Stripe account.
14. Disclaimers and limits of liability
No warranties. PlumbPaid is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that PlumbPaid will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always able to synchronize, take a payment, or send an email; that sales tax rates, distances, arrival times, or locations will be accurate; or that Stripe, Google Play, the App Store, maps, email, or other services we rely on will be available.
Limits of liability. To the fullest extent the law allows, RPC Tech Solutions LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising from or related to PlumbPaid, even if told they were possible. Our total liability for all claims related to PlumbPaid is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for PlumbPaid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them.
Your responsibility to us. You agree to defend and indemnify RPC Tech Solutions LLC against claims, losses, and costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your plumbing work, your dealings with your customers and plumbers, the taxes you charge or owe, your use of route tracking, information you enter, or your breach of these terms or the law.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or PlumbPaid will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in Clay County, Florida, and you and we consent to those courts’ jurisdiction. Either of us may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court. Before filing a claim, please email support@getplumbpaid.com so we can try to resolve it informally within 30 days.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the service or legal requirements change. We will post the updated version with a revised effective date and provide additional notice when required.
